“ Andaz Amsterdam occupies a former public library on the Prinsengracht and, with interiors by Marcel Wanders, makes the most persuasive case in the city for treating a hotel as a work of design. The Dutch-themed rooms, the rooftop terrace with canal views, and the ground-floor bar drawing a strong local crowd give it a vitality that sets it apart from more conservative canal belt addresses. It suits guests who want a strong point of view from their surroundings and consider the design itself part of the experience.
The Andaz Amsterdam Prinsengracht is one of my favorite hotels. It's super chic, with great service and a fantastic location that doesn't feel overly big or crowded. The room was spacious and nicely equipped, with a comfortable king bed. I especially appreciated having both thick and thin pillows to choose from.
Everything was wonderful here. Nice, attentive staff, beautiful surroundings, comfortable room, and a fabulous breakfast buffet. We hope to stay again.
Very cool hotel right in the city center. Lowkey Alice in Wonderland theme, with modern hip style. It's got an elevator, two restaurants on-site, and a bar. Room was comfy and clean, food was great, and the meditation garden is a great place to hang out and chill when it's warm enough outside.
We had just come from a horrible stay at a “5 star” hotel in Paris, we were tired, jet lagged and grumpy and from the moment we arrived at this hotel it was like we could finally take a deep breath and relax. The staff was so attentive and kind. We were well cared for and they put us in a quiet room facing the garden because they knew we needed sleep.
Had a really lovely stay at the Andaz. Service was helpful and exceptional, the food and beverages I've had throughout my stay was top notch, and my room was clean and comfortable. Would definitely return. PS - check out the spa! I had a facial my first evening and really enjoyed it.
