Verdict
“ Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam has one of the most extraordinary settings of any hotel in Europe: six meticulously restored 17th- and 18th-century canal palaces strung together along the Herengracht, with all the grandeur the address implies. The Guerlain spa, the two-Michelin-starred Spectrum restaurant, and rooms that look directly onto the canal make the case for staying put rather than venturing out. It suits guests who want Amsterdam's golden age framed from their window and felt in every detail of the service.
This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. Parts of it date back to 1660 and it is actually several different houses which have been combined to make one incredible hotel. The rooms are spacious and spotless, the staff is incredibly well trained, and the food is excellent.
A gem in the middle of Amsterdam. We have stayed at many places in Hilton family and this is by far one of best, friendly caring staff very attentive to any need. Beautiful surroundings and world class resturants in hotel and around. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Our stay at the Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for.
The most beautiful hotel I have experienced. The staff is amazingly friendly, helpful, and kind. Everyone spoke English. It is a very luxurious hotel, with unique rooms, hallways and staircase. Our room overlooked (the Gentleman’s) canal and it was fun watching the boats go by.
I cannot say enough good things about the Waldorf Astoria- Amsterdam. This hotel’s slogan must be “one more surprise for you,” because my husband and I heard those words about 10 times during our stay!
