A visionary retreat for those who travel with intention, set within 5 hectares of enchanted nature

Where craftsmanship meets sweeping views, Il Salviatino Firenze offers a refined Tuscan escape. Perched on a hillside above Florence, this 15th-century villa - originally built atop ancient Roman ruins - was once home to a noble Florentine family. Today, its storied past blends seamlessly with contemporary elegance to welcome guests into a world of timeless charm. Set within 12 acres of private parkland and lush organic gardens, every suite and room has its own distinct character, with restored frescoes, period artwork, and handcrafted furnishings.

Mornings might begin with a dip in the heated two-level outdoor pool or a peaceful moment on the flower-filled terrace. For deeper renewal, the hotel’s La Spa Il Salviatino offers immersive treatments designed to awaken all the senses. At La Terrazza, the hotel’s signature restaurant, seasonal Tuscan dishes are served with simplicity and soul.

The estate invites quiet exploration, but the nearby town of Fiesole - with its Roman heritage - is also within easy reach. For a deeper dive into the Renaissance, the hotel provides a complimentary shuttle to the heart of Florence in just 15 minutes. Discover the artisan workshops, glide under Ponte Vecchio, or wander through the Medici Chapels to see tombs shaped by Michelangelo himself. As dusk settles over the hills, return to Il Salviatino and relax in the wood-paneled library, a vintage novel in hand and a glass of Tuscan red nearby.

Da Giacomo al Salviatino

The culinary salon brings the iconic Milanese dining experience to the scenic hills of Florence, seamlessly blending the rich culinary heritage of Giacomo Milano with the serene ambiance of Il Salviatino. Situated on a panoramic terrace, the restaurant offers breathtaking views of the Tuscan landscape, providing an unforgettable backdrop for every meal. During cooler days, guests can enjoy the warmth and elegance of the Sala Alfresco, an indoor space that retains the charm of the villa.
